Souharda Fed organizes banking course: Five UCBs attend

From June 10th to 16th, 2024, the Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. hosted a comprehensive 7-day Basic Banking Certificate Course specifically designed for junior employees of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks. The training took place at the Kirloskar Institute of Management in Yantrapura, Harihar.

The opening ceremony was held on June 10th, with notable attendees including Sri G. Nanjana Gowda, President of KSSFCL, who inaugurated the event. Other distinguished guests included Sri M R Prabhudev, Director of KSSFCL, Sri Surendra, Cooperative Development Officer of Davangere, Dr. Nandeesh V Hiremath, Director of KIM, and Sri Sharanagouda G Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL.

During his inaugural speech, President Gowda highlighted the transition of the program from basic banking training to a more structured certificate course. He emphasized the course’s unique aspects, such as its diverse study materials, encouraging all participants to fully engage with the learning opportunities presented.

The program was attended by 54 candidates from five Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks, all of whom took part in this innovative educational initiative designed to enhance their banking skills and knowledge.
