Navhind Times reports the Goa govt will hold a cooperative conference by the end of this year with a view to discussing the whole gamut of the cooperative sector in the state.
The conference will take place in Taliegao in Goa. Union minister of agriculture Radha Mohan Singh will inaugurate the conference.
Sources say the conference will discuss the possibilities of expanding and diversifying the cooperative sector in the state.
The Goa minister for cooperation is already busy overseeing the preparations for the conference, sources say.
Over six thousand delegates will take part in the conference.
