On a tour to north eastern states Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has laid stone to a Horticulture college Thenzol along with the state agriculture minister. Reaching Mizoram Singh was received by the local minister as well as officials of his ministry.
He called for adopting better Agriculture Management Practices aimed at tackling the challenges arising out of climatic changes.
A social media enthusiast Singh wrote on his FB “Mitigate the Climate Change Challenge. Adopt Better Agriculture Management Practices.” Contributing uninterrupted to the hastag transformingindia, Singh comes up this novel ideas every now and then.
Later Singh had a fruitful meeting with the Chief Minister of Mizoram Lalthanhawala at the latter’s residence.
He also met with the officials of Agriculture, Cooperative, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Horticulture departments of State Govt in Mizoram.
