Congress leader Devendra Singh Shyam has been appointed as the Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank.
Shyam, a resident of Shimla, has been the chairman of APMC Shimla and Kinnaur twice from 2003-08.
He has also been an advisor to the State Marketing Board from 2014-17.
The letter of his appointment was released on Monday, which was signed by the Secretary (Cooperation) Himachal Pradesh.
