Maharashtra based Shriram Nagari Sahakari Patasanstha got a new spacious building on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. The building was inaugurated by State Cooperative Minister Subhash Deshmukh. Scores of prominent people attended the function.
Sharing the news on the phone, Patasanstha Chairman Panditrao Deshmukh said, “Today our new building which is five storied has been inaugurated by Maharashtra Cooperative Minister Subhash Deshmukh. For over 23 years, we had been on rent and the new space is a big achievement for us”, he said.
Deshmukh added that covering an area of 2700 square feet and built at the expense of Rs. 3 crore, the new space is a facility the cooperative will use to expand business in areas not yet covered by it.
Established in 1996, Shriram Nagari Patasanstha has a total business mix of Rs 90 crore. Patasanstha earned a net profit of Rs 45 lakh in the last financial year.
There are around 1600 shareholders associated with the society who receive 12 percent dividend generally every year.
