The newly constructed headquarters of Etawah District Cooperative Bank was inaugurated by Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Chief and the bank Chairman Shivpal Singh Yadav last week.
The new building construction has cost Rs 4 crore and it will provide employees a better environment for doing their work. Singh informed that the extension counter will be opened in the area, so that people can get better facilities.
“The condition of cooperative banks in the entire state is not good and grappling with the credit crunch. In our government, cooperative banks were on a growth path but after the BJP came in power the situation is becoming worse”, he added.
General Manager Kuldeep Yadav, former MP Raghuraj Singh Shakya, Praspa district President Sunil Yadav and others were present on the occasion.
The bank GM said the new building consists of a conference hall, administrative hall including a board of director’s room.
