Business Standard reports a Pune-based bank has taken “symbolic possession” of a flat owned by the newly-elected NCP MLA Dhananjay Munde in Maharashtra for not repaying a loan of Rs 70 lakh.
The NCP leader won in the election defeating his BJP rival Pankaja Munde his cousin.
As the NCP leader had not repaid the loan, Shivajirao Bhosale Co-op bank had no choice but to take symbolic possession of his flat.
