Uttar Pradesh based Etawah District Cooperative Bank has earned a profit of Rs 1.77 crore during the 2018-19 financial year.
It was announced by Bank President and PSP National President Shiv Pal Singh Yadav during the 70th Annual General Meeting of the bank held on Wednesday.
During the meeting Yadav accused the state government of weakening the cooperative movement and not helping cooperatives.
On the occasion, the delegates from Etawah and Auraiya raised issues and wanted their resolution. The Bank Secretary Kuldeep Yadav got eight resolutions passed. The bank has also approved an ATM van for Auraiya District.
A new building of the bank is likely to be inaugurated in the month of February 2020.
