On his tour to Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, IFFCO and NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani not only participated in the national conference organized by the Indian Farmers Society at Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri but also offered prayers at the famous Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.
The local cooperators at Shirdi gave a rousing welcome to Sanghani on his arrival at Shirdi Airport. He also met the Sahakar Maharshi Shankarrao Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Chairman Vivek Kolhe and Rahuri Cooperative Sugar Mill former Chairman Prasad Tanpure and interacted with them. IFFCO’s Maharashtra State Marketing Manager Uday Tijare was also there with Sanghani.
Speaking in the conference, Sanghani said, “Farmers cannot prosper unless the price of agricultural produce is at the dollar level. For this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formed the Export Multistate Cooperative Society. PACS are being computerized so that they can easily become the members of the export cooperative society.
During the conference, Sanghani was honored with the “Agriculture and Cooperation Ratna Award”.
