Banas Dairy Chairman Shankar Chaudhary visited the site of a new processing plant of Dairy which is going to be set up at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday last week.
It is learnt that the Dairy will establish a processing plant at the cost of Rs 200-250 crore in Varanasi, which can process five lakh litres of milk a day. The Uttar Pradesh government had provided 30 acres of land for the plant.
Soon after visiting the site, Chaudhary wrote on his facebook wall, ” Today, visited Varanasi, Parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi ji as well as the religious and cultural capital of the country and inspected the land on which the new plant of Banas Dairy is going to be built. The Banas Dairy team is constantly striving to expand beyond Gujarat”, he added.
On the occasion, Banas Dairy MD Sangram Chaudhary and others were also present. The Dairy is one of the milk unions of GCMMF, which sells its products under the brand name of Amul.
