Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will transfer the amount to the accounts of depositors through Sahara Refund Portal on Friday from New Delhi. It bears recalling that in the recently launched CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal, many depositors have registered themselves to get back their hard earned money.
Meanwhile, several depositors are facing many issues related to registering themselves on the portal and took to social media to list the issues. The major issue they are facing is OTP verification.
The CRCS Portal has been developed for submission of legitimate claims by the genuine depositors of four Cooperative Societies namely; Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Saharayn Universal Multipurpose Society Ltd., Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd.
The portal can be accessed through the Ministry of Cooperation website https://cooperation.gov.in. The genuine depositors of these Societies may login in the portal and submit their claims by filling online application forms available on the portal and upload the requisite documents.
It bears recall that, on the petition of the Ministry of Cooperation, the Supreme Court had ordered the refund from Sahara-SEBI refund account to about 10 crore investors of 4 cooperative societies of Sahara Group, ending the long pending woes of Sahara investors.
