Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will launch the IFFCO Nano DAP (Liquid) from the sprawling headquarters of the fertilizer cooperative IFFCO Sadan in Delhi on Wednesday i.e. today.
He will dedicate the IFFCO Nano DAP to the farmers of the country. IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani, board members, Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi and others will be present on this occasion.
IFFCO is setting up a Nano DAP plant at its Kalol unit, Gujarat with a production capacity of 2 lakh bottles of 500 ml per day.
It is said that the newly developed IFFCO Nano DAP will not only reduce the cost in comparison to conventional DAP but also cut down the subsidy. It is said that one bottle of Nano DAP would cost around Rs 600.
Meanwhile, the trial of IFFCO Nano DAP is going on in different parts of the country. Many videos of farmers expressing their encouraging experiences related to Nano DAP were also shared by the IFFCO MD many times through his twitter wall.
Readers would recall that last month IFFCO’s Nano DAP was approved by the Union Agriculture Ministry and notified in the Fertilizer Control Order (FCO).
