Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a gathering of cooperative sector stakeholders in Bihar as part of his two-day visit to the state. Shah’s speech at the cooperative department’s function is expected to highlight the Centre’s initiatives to strengthen cooperatives, a key sector in Bihar’s rural economy.
With the Bihar assembly elections approaching, his visit underscores the BJP’s outreach to farmers, self-help groups, and cooperative societies.
Shah is also set to hold discussions with senior party leaders, focusing on electoral strategy. His visit will be followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip on April 24, during which he will inaugurate the extended Patna airport complex and other development projects.
