Speaking on the occasion of onboarding of cooperatives on GeM portal, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani said that it is a historic day for the sector. GeM offers a huge platform to the cooperative sector as we look forward to connecting small co-ops to this platform sooner than later, said Sanghani.
Lauding Shah for his enthusiasm and commitment for the co-op sector, NCUI President said that this day that we are witnessing today, would not have been possible without him. Thanks to the Prime Minister’s decision to create a separate ministry and entrusting the job to Amitbhai that co-ops are part of the mainstream today, he stated.
Thanking his NCUI team for working hard for two months on the project of GeM onboarding, Sanghani said intense training has been going on in NCUI. It bears recall that NCUI is the nodal agency for onboarding on the GeM.
Exhorting co-ops to join GeM, Sanghani said participation on this platform would also silence critics who accuse co-ops of lack of transparency at times.
Listing co-op contributions to the world, Sanghani said what co-ops can do is unimaginable for others. He named IFFCO’s Nano Urea in this context.
