Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is visiting Haryana today where he will be inaugurating several cooperative projects of the state co-op department at the Hafed Export House in Karnal.
The program of the Minister was made at the request of Haryana govt but PIB does not have details of the projects the Minister will inaugurate. Last week in Lucknow while participating in the Investors’ conclave, Shah expressed his resolve to tour the length and breadth of the country to strengthen the cooperative movement.
One of the Ministry officials said whenever Shah leaves Delhi, he asks for information about co-op institutions in the areas he is likely to visit. Boosting local co-operators and interacting with them to acquaint himself with the challenges they face are some of the goals of the Minister’s visit, said the official.
