During its 44th Annual General Meeting held in Mumbai on Saturday, Maharashtra Urban Cooperative Banks Federation bestowed awards on 25 urban cooperative banks in eight categories.
In the Mahila banks category- Ambika Mahila Sahakari Bank, Manndeshi Mahila Sahakari Bank and Sanmitra Mahila Nagari Sahakari Bank. Saraswat Cooperative Bank, TJSB Sahakari Bank and SVC Cooperative Bank got the award in the category of having deposits above Rs 5000 crores
Besides, UCBs that got the award in the category of having deposits above Rs 2500 crore but less than Rs 5000 crores were Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank and GP Parsik Sahakari Bank.
Similarly, Nashik Merchants Cooperative Bank, Deogiri Nagari Sahakari Bank, Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank, Khamgaon Urban Cooperative Bank and Chhatrapati Rajarshi Shahu Urban Cooperative Bank received the award in the category of having deposits above Rs 1000 crore but below Rs 2500 crore.
The UCBs which received the award under the category of having deposits above Rs 500 crore but less than Rs 1000 crore were Hasti Cooperative Bank, Shri Kanyaka Nagari Sahakari Bank and Krishna Sahakari Bank
Priyadarshani Nagari Sahakari Bank, Vaishya Nagari Sahakari bank and Shri Krishna Cooperative bank annexed the award under the category of UCBs having deposits above Rs 100 crores but less than Rs 500 crores.
The banks which received the award under the category of having deposits upto Rs 100 crore and Unit banks are Sai Sanjivani Cooperative bank, Govardhan Singh Ji Raghuvanshi Cooperative Bank and Gajanan Nagari Sahakari Bank.
Amravati Zilla Parishad Shikshak Cooperative Bank, Maharashtra Mantralaya and Allied Offices Co Operative Bank and Wardha Zilla Parishad Employees Urban Co Op Bank received the award in the Salary Earners Banks category.
