Punjab government has ordered a probe into an alleged scam at a cooperative bank in Amritsar, reports PTI. According to the Punjab cooperation minister, a team of audit officers will carry out the probe.
Meanwhile, a scam in various cooperative societies falling under the jurisdiction of Tarsikka cooperative bank has also come to light. The scam was detected during an inquiry carried out by the MD of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank.
Cooperation minister Randhawa said all the guilty will be punished.
