Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Co-operatives Vishwas Sarang who is also on the board of apex labour co-op federation, NLCF said KCC cards would be given to the farmers of the state in a fortnight, reports the daily Hitavada.
Sarang was addressing a meeting of District Co-operative Banks Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen at Apex Bank auditorium on Saturday.
About 6,50,000 Kisan Credit Cards have been distributed to the farmers by DCCBs and they are doing a good job on this front.
Those present on the occasion included Apex Bank Administrator Ramakant Bhargava and Cooperative Principal Secretary KC Gupta, among others.
