Tribune reports Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has criticized union minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat for his alleged involvement in the Rs 900 crore Sanjivani Cooperative Society and urged the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate to raid his premises.
Gehlot made the comment following a Jaipur court asking the Rajasthan police to probe in the matter. Shekhawat, his wife and some others, are named in the complaint related to the scam.
However, earlier, a magistrate’s court had rejected an application to include him in the charge sheet.
