The Rajasthan high court has sent notices to union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, his wife and 15 others for their alleged involvement in the Rs 900 crore Sanjeevani Credit Cooperative Society fraud, media reports say.
The matter will be heard by the court on January 31, 2021. The court has taken cognizance of the matter on a petition filed by investors.
The petitioners have demanded investigation into the scam by central agencies such as the CBI or ED or the Serious Fraud Investigation Office.
