Sanghani stresses synergy between Panchayat & Co-ops

In a robust display of community and governmental collaboration, the Krishi and Gram Vikas Parishad (Council for Agriculture and Rural Development) held a meeting focussed on mutual trust in Savarkundla to strengthen rural ties and deliver essential benefits.

Key highlights included the distribution of checks to beneficiaries of the Farmer Accident Insurance Scheme, underscoring the council’s commitment to supporting local farmers in times of need.

The novel idea of synergy between co-ops and panchayat was earlier floated by ace cooperator Dileep Sanghani. Talking to the Indian Cooperative, Sanghani said that the aim of the Parishad is to reach out to the last man with govt sponsored schemes.

The event facilitated meaningful discussions on the execution of various government initiatives at the village level, aiming to ensure that the benefits of such schemes reach the most marginalized individuals in the community.

Besides Sanghani, the ceremony attracted a host of dignitaries, including Deepakbhai Malani, Chairperson of Savarkundla APMC; former MP Naranbhai Kachhadiya; and several local cooperative and purchasing association leaders like Ashwinbhai Savaliya and Dr. Bharatbhai Kanabar. District co-op union Chairman Manish Sanghani was also present on the occasion.

Their presence underscored the united effort to enhance rural development and community welfare, reflecting a collective dedication to ensuring that governmental support systems are accessible to all, especially those at the grassroots level.
