Addressing the International Seminar organized by the Embassy of Brazil in India on Thursday, NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani said that the G20 Presidency under Brazil, will provide the opportunity for cooperatives to showcase their valued contributions in achieving goals of sustainable development.
The International Seminar on prospects and future of India-Brazil relationship in the agribusiness sector was attended by Parshottam Rupala, Union Cabinet Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying from India and H.E. Carlos Favaro, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil, among others.
“The NCUI along with its members have been active in B-20, C-20, W-20 and Y-20 working groups. Due to our humble efforts, cooperatives found due mention in the final policy papers. of the G-20. On this occasion, it is worth mentioning that the Cooperative movement in vibrant in Brazi”, Shanghani said.
On the occasion, a brief ceremony for the transition of presidency “International Cooperative Alliance G 20 – Working Group” was handed over to Brazil’s Cooperative Organization (OCB).
Taking the opportunity, Sanghani who doubles as the Chairman of IFFCO presented IFFCO Nano Urea & Nano DAP to Carlos Favaro and explained to him the benefits of the whole Nano range of products.
In another event also where the Australian Leader of Opposition was present, IFFCO Chairman showcased Nano Urea leading its MD Dr U S Awasthi to tweet “ Today, Sh. @Dileep_SanghaniJi, Chairman, IFFCO & Sh.
