Speaking on the occasion of the 43rd AGM of Nafed, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani narrated a story of co-operative bonhomie, unheard of in electoral politics.
Sanghani said’ I am a diehard BJP man and a member of RSS but when it comes to cooperatives I forget all other identities. He underlined the importance of cooperation among cooperatives.
Recalling the incident of his bagging Kribhco’s Sahakar Vibhushan award in the past, Sanghani said “everyone knew that I am a BJP leader and interestingly, all the Board members who chose to bestow the award on me, were non-BJP men and yet they selected me.
Speaking further he said “I do not know if I deserved the award or not but the selectors indeed deserved applause as they buried all the narrow considerations in choosing me”.
Earlier, NAFED Chairman Bijender Singh used the finest words to describe Sanghani and said it is because of him the Nafed is scaling new heights.
