Cooperative leaders of the country are greeting the newly appointed Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today on Friday on his birthday. Shah who is seen as Chanakya of Indian politics has turned 57.
Felicitating him, the IFFCO MD tweeted “Heartiest Birthday greetings to Shri Amit Shah Ji, Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation. May God bless you with success, happiness & long healthy life ahead in the service of the nation. Be the shining thread of cooperatives in the beautiful tapestry of the world.”
There are several cooperative leaders from Gujarat who have also greeted Shah on his birthday. Narharibhai Amin was one of the first to do so.
Expressing his wishes, NCUI President Dileep Sanghani said “cooperative sector is going to benefit a lot from Amitbhai’s vision. I wish him a very happy birthday”.
Wishing him on his birthday, Kribhco Chairman Dr. Chandrapal Singh Yadav said that Amit Shah is a name to reckon with and the entire cooperative sector is looking up to him with great expectations. Amit Shah has been credited with leading the BJP to victory in several elections as the party’s president.
Born in 1964 in Mumbai, Amit Shah was involved with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at a young age. He later went on to become the Union Home Minister in the second term of the Narendra Modi-led central government.
