At the call of the Association of Asian Confederation Of Credit Union (ACCU), Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) based Samata Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha planted more than 500 trees in its premises.
It has been carried out under the guidance of Omprakash Dadappa alias Kaka Koyate, Treasurer, ACCU and president of Maharashtra Credit Co-op Federation.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative, Koyate said, “We have planted more than 500 trees in our society campus and will plant more in the near future”.
“We appealed to all credit cooperative societies of Maharashtra as well as the country to plant more and more trees to save the earth from climate change and the loss of biodiversity ”, he added.
