Sahakar Bharati organized its two days State Working Committee meeting in Mathura last week, which was inaugurated by its President D N Thakur.
Addressing the meeting, Thakur reiterated that the sole objective of Sahakar Bharati is social welfare. We are working to make the people self-reliant through cooperatives and we have to work together to take the cooperative movement to newer heights.
In his speech, Sahakar Bharati National General Secretary Dr. Uday Joshi added, “Our organization has a footprint in more than 600 districts of 27 states and is making efforts to cover all of India. At present, there are 8.35 lakh cooperative societies in the country with more than 30 crore members, and this year we have set a target to expand our membership to one crore members”.
IFFCO Vice-Chairman Balvir Singh, Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Tejveer Singh, Sahakar Bharati UP Chapter State General Secretary Praveen Jadaun, and other senior leaders of the organization were present at the two-day meeting.
