Sah Bharati Karnataka elects new state leaders

The state convention of Sahakar Bharati Karnataka was successfully held on November 22 in Davangere. The event was inaugurated by former Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjola, former Member of Parliament G.S. Siddeshwar, and national patron Ramesh Vaidya, with blessings from Shri Shri Shri Someshekar Shivacharya Swamiji.

In the first session, Shri Prakash, South Zone Co-Convenor of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), provided insights on the “Five-Point Agenda” for cooperative development. The second session featured guidance from Soumya S., Deputy Director, on the role of women and youth in the cooperative sector, along with a presentation by the Sub-Registrar. During the closing ceremony, National Organizing Secretary Sanjay Pachpor addressed the gathering.

The event saw the election of new state leaders, with Shri Prabhudev M.R. taking charge as the State President and Shri Narasimha Kamath as the State General Secretary. Manjunath was appointed as the Organization Head.

Over 1,300 participants, including representatives from cooperative societies and volunteers from 28 districts across Karnataka, attended the convention. Notably, the registration process for the event was conducted online, reflecting the organization’s adoption of digital practices.
