Rs 8 million looted from a Nepal’s co-operative

Three robbers made off with Rs 8 million from an employee of a Dhanusha-based cooperative on Monday, reports Nepalese media.

Three motorcycle-borne youths robbed Birendra Mahato, a staff of the Shubha Shree Saving and Credit Cooperative, of the amount belonging to the cooperative.

The incident took place when Mahato, along with another employee Rekha Devi Mahato, was heading to the cooperative office, police said.
