Rs 5.5 crore burglary in Belagavi DCCB

Criminals broke into a branch of the Belagavi District Central Cooperative Bank in Karnataka and made away with cash and valuables worth Rs 5.5 crore recently, reports Hindu.

Police say the loot included Rs 4 crores in cash, gold ornaments valued at Rs 1.5 crores.

 Police have registered a case and the investigation is underway.
