Ropar DCCB in news; Two officials held

Tribune reports the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) recently took into custody two functionaries of the Central Cooperative Bank, Ropar, for their alleged involvement in a scam of Rs 1.24 crore.

The two fraudsters include Assistant manager Bikramjit Singh and senior manager Ashok Singh Mann.

The Vigilance Bureau is quoted as saying the investigation revealed that the swindle of funds was carried out by misusing account IDs, passwords and details of Mann and other employees and bank managers.
