Tamil Nadu based Repco Bank presented a dividend cheque of Rs 15.26 crore to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday.
The cheque was given towards the share capital of the GOI. Repco Bank Chairman E Santhanam and Managing Director R S Isabella personally handed over the cheque to Shah.
Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla was also present on this occasion. The news was shared by Isabella to the Indian Cooperative. The Bank performed remarkably well across all business segments.
The total business of the Bank grew by 8% to Rs 17,746 crore as of March 31, 2023. The Bank’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for the year ending 31st March 2023 stood at Rs 67.42 cr. registering a growth of 10.15%.
