Due to the ongoing election process of Pune District Cooperative Bank, the recruitment process for filing 356 clerk posts has been postponed. On average, 37k applicants have applied for these posts, according to media reports.
After the declaration of the process of election of the bank, the Board of Directors cannot take any policy decision. Therefore the employee recruitment process has been postponed.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the bank, Ramesh Thorat said that after the formation of a new board of the bank, employees will be recruited, taking permission as per the rules of the cooperative department.
