Because of a reshuffle at the top level in RBI after deputy governor S S Mundra’s retirement, deputy governors N S Vishwanathan will be handling the supervision of cooperative banking supervision.
The consumer education and protection department, financial inclusion and development department and the right to information division will be overseen by BP Kanungo, the central bank said.
The current deputy governors will hold their previously assigned departments as before and recent allocations are temporary, the apex bank informed.
