RBI will soon check out the impact of its awareness campaigns started to encourage financial literacy and safe banking practices, reports PTI. The ‘RBI Kehta Hai’ campaign is aimed to disseminate information to the general public on all possible banking norms as well as services.
The campaign uses SMSes, print, television channels, radio, hoardings, websites, and social media.
The languages used in the campaign are — Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu with more focus on regional languages.
