Uttar Pradesh Cooperation Minister J.P.S. Rathore inaugurated a special web portal at the auditorium of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank to promote and monitor activities related to the International Year of Cooperatives on Saturday.
This portal has been developed to digitally present and track various programs organized by cooperative organizations under the United Nations-declared International Year of Cooperatives.
Additionally, it will allow for public participation in cooperative events, further enhancing engagement. The initiative aims to promote cooperative activities, connect with the youth, and strengthen the cooperative movement’s presence. The portal will provide cooperative organizations with a digital platform to share their initiatives on a broader scale.
Alongside the portal launch, the Cooperation Department’s Commissioner and Registrar’s Office was successfully onboarded onto the E-Office platform, ensuring efficiency and transparency in departmental operations.
The event saw the presence of several key officials, including Principal Secretary (Cooperation) Saurabh Babu, Commissioner & Registrar of Cooperation Anil Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank R.K. Kulshreshtha, Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Union Shrikant Goswami, and various Joint Commissioners, Joint Registrars, Deputy Commissioners, and Deputy Registrars of Cooperation.
