Indian Cooperative keeps on receiving news related to contributions being given by the small and large Urban Cooperative Banks of India towards the PM Cares fund and the CM Relief Fund.
Sharing the news, Rajkot Peoples Cooperative Bank General Manager G M Kamani said, “The Bank has contributed Rs 5.05 lakh towards the PM Cares fund and 1.20 lakh was donated by the staff from their one day’s salary towards the CM Relief fund. The total amount contributed by the bank was Rs 6.25 lakh”, he added.
“The amount has been sent through RTGS. Besides, we are also planning to help the needy with the essential items. We are standing strongly with the government in the fight against the coronavirus”, he underlined.
The bank’s total business mix is about Rs 350 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 2.35 crore in the 2018-19 financial year.
