Copycatting Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi, Surendra Singh of Jaisalmer has allegedly made away with Rs 100 crore of deposits with Sai Kripa Cooperative Society in Rajasthan. A case has been registered against him in Jaisalmer and Pokharan, reports a news outlet.
Sources say, initially the credit society was doing well collecting crores of rupees as deposits from the people but soon its chairman Surender Singh turned a criminal and defrauded the society of all its deposits.
The latest news is Surender Singh is absconding and .the depositors have yet to get their hard-earned money back.
