Addressing a review meeting on Monday at the apex bank headquarters, Rajasthan Cooperation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak expressed concerns that instances of irregularities and fraud in cooperative societies erode public trust in the sector.
He directed officials to take immediate and uncompromising action against those found guilty.
Around 300 cases were reviewed in detail. Dak expressed dissatisfaction over delays in investigations and instructed officials to expedite proceedings with set deadlines.
Further, he warned that any officers attempting to shield guilty individuals would face strict action.
In her remarks, Manju Rajpal, Secretary, Rajasthan Cooperative Department instructed that investigations should not be delayed and old cases should be prioritized for swift resolution.
The meeting was attended by over 250 officials, including Rajasthan State Cooperative Apex Bank Managing Director Sanjay Pathak.
