Rajasthan Cooperative Minister Udailal Anjana said on Friday, Rajasthan State Cooperative Banks and DCCBs will sanction loans for setting up processing units, warehouses and cold storage.
These units will be setup with an objective to promote agro processing, agri business and agri exports. A scheme for financing these projects by state apex cooperative bank and Central Cooperative Banks is being developed. These banks will provide loans of Rs 500 crore, he added.
Meanwhile, Principal Secretary, Cooperatives Naresh Pal Gangwar said up to 75 percent loans will be given for setting up units by the cooperative banks. The interest rate will be 10 percent.
