A news outlet reports, the Cooperative Department of Rajasthan has received complaints related to frauds in cooperatives from Barmer District of the state. The department has got 5,172 complaints from the district.
The total complaints from Rajasthan have reached up to 37 thousand. The complaints involved about Rs 765 crore.
It is to be noted that 99 percent complaints have come against Multi State Cooperative Societies. Maximum numbers of complaints are from Barmer followed by Jodhpur, Pali, Dholpur and other districts.
The cooperative department has now started hearing the complaints.
