According to Media reports, Karnataka’s Cooperation Minister K.N. Rajanna said the state govt would initiate measures to energize the cooperative credit system in the countryside with a view to boosting the rural economy.
The minister said this while addressing the Centenary celebrations of The Graduates Co-operative Bank in Mysore.
Rajanna dwelt on the importance of forming Vyavasaya Seva Sahakara Sangha in all Gram Panchayats by the end of the year.
The minister underlined the commitment of the new govt. to bolster cooperative banks.
