Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Gujarat model of development”, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, instead , took his hat off to the Amul model, which catered to all sections of society, reports Press Trust of India.
Addressing a Patidar-dominated public meeting, Rahul said Gujarat had given Sardar Patel and it would have to play an important role in taking the country forward.
Amul is a brand owned by Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation which is jointly owned by 3.6 million milk producers in the state.
