Rahul visits co-op set up at Gandhi’s behest in Karnataka

During his Padyatra which he is going through currently, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi visited the Khadi Cooperative in Badanavalu village near Mysuru.

The cooperative was set up at the behest of Mahatma Gandhi. Rahul visited the same to pay respects to Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October.

“Bapu taught us to walk on the path of truth and non-violence. He explained the meaning of love, compassion, harmony and humanity,” Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet in Hindi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Gandhi at Rajghat and attended a prayer meeting at Gandhi Smriti on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
