The mobile ATM of Bihar Purnea District Central Cooperative Bank Limited was flagged off by Nabard’s Bihar Regional Office, CGM, Dr Sunil Kumar in the presence of several co-operators. Nabard has given four mobile ATMs to the district central co-op bank.
On the occasion Kumar said, “NABARD is offering various other facilities including mobile ATM vans under the Financial Inclusion Fund for technological upgradation of cooperative banks and to keep them in competition with other banks. Micro ATM, RuPay, financial assistance for KCC cards etc. are among them”.
He said that these ATM vans will now be able to provide ATM facilities to customers in Purnia as well as Araria and Kishanganj districts.
Chairman of Purnea District Cooperative Bank Hira Prasad Singh, Managing Director Kishor Kumar Jha and other board members were present on the occasion.
