Among several state cooperative ministers, Punjab Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa is standing a notch above by displaying remarkable faith in the co-op model.
Speaking in Chandigarh recently he said working together with Indian Oil Corporation will help the cooperation sector in making its contributions into economic success of the state.
The minister also presided over handing over of Letters of Intent by Indian Oil Corporation regarding setting up of IOC retail outlets at Gurdaspur, Nakodar and Bhogpur cooperative sugar mills, reports Tribune News Service.
Randhwa who is presently in Greece attending COBI meeting, earlier mooted the idea of having a Forum of Co-op Ministers at the national level.
