Chartered Accountant Janardan Randive and Dr. Ramesh Sonavane have been elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Bank of the Pune Peoples Cooperative Bank.
Mr. Randive who is a chartered accountant by profession and who has put in about 30 years in cooperative banking sector, expressed confidence to take the business of the Bank beyond Rs.2100 crore by the end of this financial year.
An accomplished chartered accountant, he has been appointed as Auditor for the prestigious Smart City Project of Pune, Thane and Solapur cities. He has worked at various capacities in cooperative Banks.
Dr. Ramesh Sonavane is the Vice Chairman of the Bank. Sonavane is a Gynecologist and active in cooperative banking. He also pledged to stand by Randive in his efforts.
Pune Peoples Bank has done remarkably well during the past year and has been maintaining A grade through out. This year also Bank has paid dividend of 12% to the members.
