A task force to prepare for the World Co-operative Congress has begun its job with a team led by ICA AP Regional Director Balu Iyer in command.
The World Co-op Congress is slated for the last month of the year in Seoul. Since it is taking place in the Asia-Pacific region, the role of Delhi office assumes added importance.
“The Task Force has kicked off initial meetings and discussions with International Cooperative Alliance members, the Korea, government representatives and local stakeholders to ‘deepen our cooperative identity”, reads a social media post by ICA AP.
The post also informs that more than 2000 cooperators from around the world will gather in Seoul in December to engage in and celebrate deepening the coop identity. “The dates are from December 11-17 and the venue is Seoul”, the post states.
