Uttar Pradesh-based Pratapgarh District Cooperative Bank will disburse crop loans worth Rs 32 crore to the farmers in this financial year. This was announced in the Annual General Meeting of the bank held last week.
The meeting was presided over by Pradeep Singh who is the nephew of Cabinet Minister Moti Singh.
The secretary of the bank informed that in the last financial year, Rs 30 crore crop loans were disbursed to the farmers.
There are 25 branches of the bank across the district.
