At the inauguration of Mahalakshmi Co-operative Bank’s digital banking system in Ambalapady, former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu emphasized the need for a ‘global vision paired with local connection’ as the cornerstone of a robust economic system.
The strides made by the bank in digital banking are commendable, reflecting the growth seen in major banks like SBI and ICICI, he said.
A customer-friendly digital ecosystem is vital for any bank’s success. He also highlighted the critical role of coastal regions, especially the fishing community, urging governments to prioritize their development for sustainable economic progress.
