Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu recently felicitated the veteran cooperator from Gujarat Jyotindra Mehta on being elected as the President of apex body of Urban Cooperative Banks NAFCUB at Rajkot, Gujarat.
It bears recall that in the recently concluded election Mehta got re-elected as the President of Nafcub representing Gujarat Urban Cooperative Banks Federation. He represents the constituency of Urban Cooperative Banks Federation.
Suresh Prabhu also tweeted on this occasion and wrote, “It was my honor to hoist the cooperative flag, at a felicitation function of Shri Jyotindra Mehta in #Rajkot. I would once again like to congratulate him for his new endeavor”.
Bharat Kapadia PA to Jyotindra Mehta wrote on WhatsApp, “Shri Suresh Prabhu was at Rajkot. Attended a function to felicitate Jyotindra Mehta on his election as President at NAFCUB along with 3 other directors from Gujarat who went to NAFCUB”.
A committed cooperator himself, Prabhu also addressed cooperators at the Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank auditorium. In the Nafcub election, Jyotindra Mehta got elected as the President and K K Sharma and Vidyadhar Anaskar as the two Vice-Presidents.
